Daon Hires New SVP Marketing

Company Names George Skaff as Senior Vice President of Marketing

Seasoned B2B SaaS Marketing Leader to Expand Company’s Global Marketing Strategy


FAIRFAX, VA (March 31, 2021) — Daon, a global leader in identity assurance technology, today announced that George Skaff has been named Senior Vice President of Marketing. Skaff joins the company’s management team in this newly created role to lead the strategy, execution, and operations for Daon’s global marketing efforts of its industry-leading identity platform capabilities.

Skaff brings more than 30 years of experience at both publicly and privately held companies, primarily in the B2B SaaS space. Skaff joins Daon from Nuance Communications, where he was the General Manager of the Digital Line of Business. Prior to that role, he served as the VP of Worldwide Marketing at Nuance where he was responsible for all inbound and outbound marketing activities for the Enterprise Division, which included the security and biometrics business. Skaff joined Nuance as part of its acquisition of TouchCommerce, where he was the CMO and helped grow its business, customer base, and industry recognition.

Skaff has held various senior marketing positions at global companies including SGI (acquired by HP), DigitalPersona (acquired by CrossMatch), Wyse (acquired by Dell), and NEC computers.
