Hong Kong trade delegation highlights opportunities for Irish firms

Hong Kong’s most senior financial official was in Dublin on Thursday to cement trading ties between the two jurisdictions and showcase the opportunities for Irish firms in Asia’s financial hub. Facial recognition tech: Could it be used to track your habits in stores?

In this segment from WJLA ABC7 News, Daon’s CEO, Tom Grissen and Pre-sales Engineer, Jason Beloncik, chat with Horace Holmes as he takes a deeper dive into how retailers are using facial recognition technology. “[Retailers] want to provide the opportunity to recognize that a loyal customer is coming into the store,” Grissen says. “They can alert a salesperson and make sure they provide the finest service they can.”
