Multi-factor authentication goes mainstream (Computerworld)

Computerworld published an article that focused on multi-factor authentic08ation and how it is making in-roads to mainstream financial services with a particular focus on biometrics. They profiled USAA, the first US bank to launch multi-factor, multi-modal mobile biometric authentication for its customers. USAA is a long standing Daon customer and together we’ve enrolled more than 1 million users (as of Oct. 15, 2015) in the first 10 months after launch.

Conor discusses that banks are now recognizing that the bar has gone up in terms of customer expectations and their single biggest mode of interaction is through mobile. The biggest takeaway – you no longer need to choose between security and convenience, you can have both!
