Summary:
Based in Reston, VA Daon is actively seeking a senior sales person to lead its sales and business development activities within key DHS Agencies. This critical role requires a proven ability to sell technical software product solutions to DHS markets both directly and via System Integrators and Solution Providers. The ideal candidate will come from similar position selling high value mission critical IT infrastructure systems with 5-10 years proven track record.
Responsibilities:
- Maximizing existing and developing new revenue streams
- Responsible for uncovering business opportunities directly, managing the sales cycle and closing
- Attracting and developing technical and sales people
- Management and development of systems integrator and other partner relationships
- Advising on budgets and targets
- Establishing Daon’s brand values within all levels of DHS
Skills & Experience:
- 7+ years consultative sales experience, mostly in the DHS/Federal market
- Current experience and contacts working with channel partners and system integrators
- Proven and consistent over achiever – earnings proof required
- Successes in initiating and concluding major complex sales
- Strong customer relationships within major corporations and government bodies
- Experienced at nurturing business relationships, and establishing long-term partnerships
- Thrives in a dynamic entrepreneurial and non-bureaucratic environment
- Effective as a team builder – especially in a matrix environment
- Security Clearance preferred
